Losing my nephew to cancer in 2005 at age 11 and seeing the pain that my brother and his wife went through losing a child, is a major influence on my decision to get Thorough Maids involved with Cure Recycling with an effort to raise money for Cure Childhood Cancer!

Sincerely,

Thorough Maids Recycling Program
Cell Phone Recycling
Do you know the satisfied feeling when you get a new phone? You start to explore all the new functions. The camera takes pictures in high quality and the inbuilt mp3 player is just perfect for rocking out to your favorite tunes.

Phones go through their own evolution, newer models hit the market and leave many older models behind. But what happens to all the old devices? These once expensive, advanced pieces of technology are now out of date and are becoming useless to our everyday needs.

Ink Cartridge Recycling
Whether at home or in the office when the ink cartridge runs dry, we pop that bad boy out and pop a new cartridge right back in. For most of us the common place to dispose of the used ink cartridge is the trash can then hauled off to the landfill.

Producing ink cartridges is environmentally expensive, with over 700 million ink cartridges used each year in the United States alone. Only a small percentage get recycled. Ink cartridges can be refilled and reused over and over.

When up to three quarts of oil are needed to produce a single printer cartridge, it makes sense to recycle the empty cartridges and have them refilled and resold on the market.

Mp3 & Digital Camera Recycling
Mostly for the same technological advances that we upgrade our cell phones we also upgrade our Mp3 Players and Digital Cameras. And the same question follows, what happens to the old Mp3 Players and Digital Cameras?

Why Recycle With Thorough Maids
All of these items can be reused or contain valuable materials and it would be a shame if you just throw them away. Recycling with Thorough Maids is a responsible way to get rid of your old Cell Phone, Mp3 Player, Digital Camera or empty Ink Cartridges! Not only are you doing your part in protecting the environment, you are helping raise money for the Cure Childhood Cancer Program.

About the recycling program
Thorough Maids and Eatrhtone Solutions (Cure Recycling) have teamed up to develope a recycling program in Illinois and NW Indiana. The key focus of this program is to raise money for "Cure Childhood Cancer " a non-profit organization that funds research for the cure of childhood cancer.

we are making it easy to recycle with our program and you do not have to be a customer of Thorough Maids to participate. If you are a client of Thorough Maids just simply save the above listed recyclables and our maids will collect them on your scheduled visit. If you are not a customer of Thorough Maids but still would like to recycle with the program, just simply scroll down a little on the screen and you will see a list of local drop off areas that are accepting the above recyclable items on behalf of Thorough Maids.

After we collect the items, the items are then sold to Earthtone Solutions (Cure Recycling) and at the end of each month, Earthtone Solutions will cut a check to Cure Childhood Cancer for the total amount of collected recyclables..

Earthtone Solutions (Cure Recycling) has been a partner of Cure Childhood Cancer since 2005 and also donates a portion of sales to Cure Childhood Cancer.

About Cure Childhood Cancer
Founded in 1975, CURE Childhood Cancer is dedicated to conquering childhood cancer through research, education and support of patients and their families. Since its establishment as a grass-roots organization, CURE has focused its efforts on improving the care, quality of life, and survival rate of children with cancer.

The founders, parents and a dedicated pediatric oncologist, joined forces to support laboratory research that would translate into immediate care for children with cancer. Since that time, CURE has raised millions of dollars to fund cutting edge research at the Aflac Cancer Center Blood Disorders Service at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Emory University School of Medicine.

Through innovative programming, CURE also provides support for stricken families, providing them comfort and support during their time of devastating need.

Why you should get your business involved
We've all heard the old saying "Do good for others and good things will happen to you" and we cant think of a better way to explain the benefits of joining in on the Thorough Maids Recycling Program! By allowing us to put your business on the list for local residents to drop off their recyclables at your business location. Your creating a free advertising campaign that will make Marketing companies jealous.

Look at it this way, if you are a retail store, restaurant or a bank. When someone stops by to drop off some recyclables, there is high chances of them shopping in your store, eating at your restaurant or noticing the great customer service your bank offers and open a checking/savings account with you.

Even if you are a business that targets specific consumers like a Contractor, Car Dealership or Real Estate Agency. Even though consumers dropping off their recyclables may not be in your market today, when they are in need of services like yours there is a good chance your the first company they think of!

Advertising is repeat exposure of your company and it does not matter if they see you on google, the newspaper or hear your radio commercials. Consumers dropping off recyclables at your location on a repeat basis creates a similar effect and can have a better impact because they are already at your location!

The program is simple, you place a recycle bin with a sign making your customers aware of the Thorough Maids Recycling Program. Then we send in new consumers to your location creating sales opportunities for your business.

While increasing sales, your helping raise money to go into the research of finding the cure for cancer. Everyone wins with this program and there is no catch!

Who would have thought doing good for others would create an effective marketing program that works!
